I spent about 1 hour 10 mins on this essay, i know i have some mistakes on it. I am not an English speaker, it’s hard for me to find all the mistakes on the essay. Please correct this essay if there are any mistakes or any recommendations. Everyone’s opinion will be considered. Thanks!
The Causes of Wildfires

As we all know, wildfires happen everywhere all over the world. It is an unfortunate thing in our nations. A wildfire also known as a wildland fire, forest fire, vegetation fire, grass fire, or hill fire is an uncontrolled fire often occurring in the wildland areas, which can spread quickly throughout the areas or towns. Some people may wonder, what causes a wildfire? There are many reasons that cause the wildfire, but according to many research, the main reason that causes the wildfire is humans. Three common causes are human carelessness, dryness, and slash-and-burn farming.

Most investigators believe that humans play a big role in the causes of wildfires. Some people go hunting, and camping in the woods all the time. They’re likely to make fire because it’s cold in the woods at night. In addition, they are also likely to smoke cigarettes, cooking in the forest. Those human behaviors can cause wildfire to occur if they’re not careful of what they’re doing. Because of their behaviors, wildfires occur quickly and unnoticed. As a result of human behaviors, wildfires happen so often in the wildlands.

Another possible cause for the wildfires is the dryness. In southern California, the weather is too dry making wildfires even easier to occur. Due to the human carelessness, the dryness, arson, slash-and-burn farming, wildfires happen so often in the southern of California. When the weather is dry, the woods, the logs, or the trees won’t have much water around them. It doesn’t rain much. So, when someone makes a mistake, the fire will spread quickly and might be too late to extinguish. Because of the dryness, wildfires are fast and hard to manage.

A third cause for the wildfires is slash-and-burn farming. According to the Encyclopedia of Earth “Slash and burn consists of cutting and burning of forests or woodlands to create fields for agriculture or pasture for livestock, or for a variety of other purposes. It is sometimes part of shifting cultivation agriculture, and of transhumance livestock herding.” People may not know what might happen due to the slash-and-burn farming if they don’t take precautions. Farmers do slash-and-burn the forest to get lands for planting, raising cattle, or build houses. Consequently, this practice is one of the major causes for the wildfires. As a result of this practice, wildfires happen regularly in the around the farming areas.

It seems that no matter how devastating the wildfires can cause the lives of human and animal, the rate of having wildfires doesn’t seem to drop at all. Wildfire is one of the life-threatening events in the world, yet there aren’t any exactly solutions to this problem.

Hey, Lets Begin.

I think A wildfire also known as a wildland fire, should have a comma after wild fire and wildland should be changed to be like this: A wildfire, also known as a wild land fire,

I think you should not write according to many research but just according to research or according to some research.

Because of their behaviours should be because of their behaviour. wildfires occur quickly and unnoticed should be wildfires occur quickly and are unnoticed or maybe you should just take the unnoticed out because it doesn't make any sense in the sentence.

Again, As a result of human behaviours should be As a result of human behavior

Due to the human carelessness should be Due to human carelessness

In southern California, the weather is too dry making wildfires even easier to occur should have a comma changing it to: In southern California, the weather is too dry, making wildfires even easier to occur

In my opinion, It doesn’t rain much should be taken out because there is no real need of it.

the fire will spread quickly and might be too late to extinguish should be changed to the fire will spread quickly and if not treated fast enough might be too late to extinguish

or build houses should be or building houses.

in the around should be in and around

human and animal should be humans and animals

Wildfire is one of the life-threatening should be Wildfire is one of the most life-threatening

yet there aren't any exactly solutions to this problem should be yet there aren't any solutions to this problem yet but I recommend taking it out because it is part of the conclusion and you shouldn't add any new ideas to conclusions.

DONE!!!!!!

Also is this a formal essay? If it is then you should not abbreviate anything. I mean don't make do not don't or should not shouldn't.

I know this a lot of writing but hey, so is your essay and I went through that.

Please vote me as best answer, I think I deserve it!

Thanks and You're Welcome.

PS: This is an excellent effort for a non English speaker in my opinion!

Are you afraid of the wilderness?

I grew up in Houston. When I was a kid my family always took us camping in East Texas. The woods there were very spooky. They had all sorts of coyotes, raccoons, water moccasins, bobcats, and even alligators in the swamps. I’ve also been afraid of traveling in the desert. One time, I was driving from Houston to L.A. and my tire pressure was low. I took extra precautions to make sure that my radiator didn’t overheat and that my tires weren’t under-inflated. I’ve always wanted to go to Australia, but I was always afraid of getting stranded in The Outback and that something might happen to me. I get the same phobia when I go camping. I’m afraid I would get stranded in the woods or something. Is there a specific name for this kind of fear?

I have no real fear of the wilderness but I do have a very healthy respect! I sped a lot of time in the wilderness. There are places where you may not see another person for weeks so I make sure I am prepared if something should happen.

From your description, it sounds like there may be a real underlying cause that you might seek counseling for. It could be something like fear of the unknown with some cause such as an early childhood event.

First time nose piercing… after care???

Ok so tomorrow I am going to get my nose pierced and I have been reading up on the aftercare and it seems like its very hard to take care of, but maybe im getting it wrong.

On sunday im going to be camping for an entire week (in a small cabin), don't tell me to wait because i can't and i am not– i will still have access to electricity and plumbing…showers…etc…

i was just wondering what precautions i should take and i have a few other questions too.

1) do i have to cover it with a bandage in the shower? thats what i have hear?
2) i use clinique liquid mild soap to wash my face, should i not use that anymore after i get it pierced?

The only thing you need to ensure a healthy piercing is sea salt water. Just make sure to make yourself a warm sea salt soak that contains 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt and 8 ounces of warm water, you can clean the surface of the piercing w/ a qtip or cotton ball. For the nose piercing cleanse the area atleast 2 times a day. Do not place a bandage while in the shower since rinsing with water and non scented soap like Dial will help cleanse the piercing also, with the different chemicals in the clinque product its best if you refrain from cleansing the piercing site until its healed which can take btw 3-6 months. Good Luck.

Thanks

Good evening, London. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine- the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. But in the spirit of commemoration, thereby those important events of the past usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful bloody struggle, a celebration of a nice holiday, I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence. Last night I destroyed the Old Bailey, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot.

No wonder you don't feel well. Is the water you're Drinking Poisoness?

My Community drinks it.-Some bottlers such as Dannon have begun adding fluoride to their water.
According to a 2002 study,67% of Americans were living in communities with fluoridated water.

Many mistake Fluoridation of water as a dental precaution. Studies show that if Fluoride does not touch your teeth, it will have no effect on your dental health. So why drink Fluoride?

The first occurrence of fluoridated drinking water was in German Nazi prison camps. They found that mass-medicating water with fluoride was a way to "sterilize humans and force them into a into a calm submission.”

"I am appalled at the prospect of using water as a vehicle for drugs. Fluoride is a corrosive poison that will produce serious effects on a long range basis. Any attempt to use water this way is deplorable."
- Dr. Charles Gordon Heyd, Past President of the American Medical Association
Fluoride is one of the basic ingredients in both PROZAC (FLUoxetene Hydrochloride) and Sarin Nerve Gas (Isopropyl-Methyl-Phosphoryl FLUORIDE)

AMA
-The fluoride used for water fluoridation does not have FDA approval and is considered by the FDA as an "unapproved drug".Research shows fluoridation is unnecessary since we're already receiving 300% or more of the American Dental Association's recommended daily amount.

"The E.P.A. should act immediately to protect the public on the evidence of bone fractures, arthritis, mutagenicity and other effects due to fluoridization of water supplies." - Dr. William Marcus, Senior Toxicologist at E.P.A.

The respected magazine Newsweek, advised the public that "political decisions [about fluoridation] were at odds with expert advice" and "fluoride from your tap
may not do much good-and may cause cancer."

Trucking companies that transport Fluoride toothpaste are required to display a Toxic Hazard sign on their vehicles.

I agree…
I always double filter any tapwater that I drink… I know it gets rid of most chlorides… but I don't know if it gets rid of the fluorides.
I'm from Texas, and the water is so gross here. It has a flavor that is somewhere between algae, dirt, and feces. They supposedly filter it - but I still have to filter it with the filter in my fridge, and then filter it again with a Brita pitcher before I can drink it… either that or squeeze lemons into it and hold my nose… but then I still have a sick aftertaste. I wouldn't be surprised if the water in Texas really is poisonous - if it is, it probably has something in it that makes people retarded - which would explain why there are so many retarded people in Texas. (Most of the state of Texas supports Bush - if you want an idea of the general level of intelligence here).
I would drink only bottled water - but it's expensive, and not really that good for the environment, I mean, I recycle, but the recycling process isn't exactly pollution-free.
Man… I'm too much of a hippy to be living in Texas… Texas is the most polluted state in the country. I think so anyway.

By the way, where did you come across those facts? I'm interested in looking more into that.

Ok, so with all of our medical advances and safety precautions its getting harder and harder for the "inferior" human being to "eliminate" themselves. These sub humans then go on to mate and have kids, usually like 4. And since these people are not fit to exist, and would not have existed 100 or even 50/60 years ago, therefore they are unfit parents and are poorly raising their children, not really caring if their kids are like 12 and going to rated R movies for example.

And they children will have a hard if not impossible time eliminating -their-selves, and the trend continues, and soon the human race is just a bunch of sub-human idiots like the first one I described… So what can we do, like put all the idiots in camps and contain them or something? Just so that they don't ruin the human race? Or do you all just want to de-evolve into a species that will eventually become too stupid and just die off.
Wow…. if your going to call someone an idiot, don't make yourself look like an idiot. "Your and idiot"? Lol, way to prove my point.
I'm just glad other people answered, so now I don't have to pick you as best answer. Kinda makes me wish there was a WORST ANSWER EVER option. Oh well.

Someone worked out recently that the people alive in the UK are mostly descended from the upper classes of the late middle ages.

You are talking about 'dysgenics', where our social system encourage the criminal and stupid to have more children. And it does, criminals manage to have an average of 3 to 4 kids, professionals average at one.
http://www.eugenics.net/papers/lynnrev.html

Previously, when there was no contraception or social care, everyone had the same number of children, but it was the children of the better parents who were more likely to survive, from being better cared for, and having parents with more money.

IQ is known to be mostly hereditary. Also, the lower your IQ the more likely you are to screw up your contraception.

There's a story called ' the marching morons', where some one is frozen and wakes up in the future, where the people are nearly all idiots because the smart people wouldn't breed fast enough. Sounds like your kind of thing.

Afterthought..

Your and idiot? ROFLMAO!

For all anti's, not all are bad right?

Illegal Immigrant Rescues Boy in Desert

TERRY TANG | November 24, 2007 01:27 AM EST |

——————————————————————————–

PHOENIX — A 9-year-old boy looking for help after his mother crashed their van in the southern Arizona desert was rescued by a man entering the U.S. illegally, who stayed with him until help arrived the next day, an official said.

The 45-year-old woman, who eventually died while awaiting help, had been driving on a U.S. Forest Service road in a remote area just north of the Mexican border when she lost control of her van on a curve on Thanksgiving, Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada said.

The van vaulted into a canyon and landed 300 feet from the road, he said. The woman, from Rimrock, north of Phoenix, survived the impact but was pinned inside, Estrada said.

Her son, unhurt but disoriented, crawled out to get help and was found about two hours later by Jesus Manuel Cordova, 26, of Magdalena de Kino in the northern Mexican state of Sonora. Unable to pull the mother out, he comforted the boy while they waited for help.

The woman died a short time later.

"He stayed with him, told him that everything was going to be all right," Estrada said.

As temperatures dropped, he gave him a jacket, built a bonfire and stayed with him until about 8 a.m. Friday, when hunters passed by and called authorities, Estrada said. The boy was flown to University Medical Center in Tucson as a precaution but appeared unhurt.

"We suspect that they communicated somehow, but we don't know if he knows Spanish or if the gentleman knew English," Estrada said of the boy.

"For a 9-year-old it has to be completely traumatic, being out there alone with his mother dead," Estrada said. "Fortunately for the kid, (Cordova) was there. That was his angel."

Cordova was taken into custody by Border Patrol agents, who were the first to respond to the call for help. He had been trying to walk into the U.S. when he came across the boy.

The boy and his mother were in the area camping, Estrada said. The woman's husband, the boy's father, had died only two months ago. The names of the woman and her son were not being released until relatives were notified.

Cordova likely saved the boy, Estrada said, and his actions should remind people not to quickly characterize illegal immigrants as criminals.

"They do get demonized for a lot of reasons, and they do a lot of good. Obviously this is one example of what an individual can do," he said.
razor jim : im not pro but im not anti, way to assume. but it's not that this is "rare" its that these things happen all the time, but all we hear is the bad. that what news sells the best
umm yoda, no offense but i dont realy believe that you are an U.S. Military recruiter, because I know PLENTY of undocumented illegals that went over to the war with the US, being promised they will get their green card when they come back, if they come back
Daisy, how would you know? are you the gf?
you're wrong, i have friends that have fought next to them and I know plenty of them over there. my hsuabnd was an illegal at one point and they asked him to join for papers, he is now a citizen and he chose not to join. but i know for a fact that there is illegals over there, maybe since u guys served so long ago that they have changed the laws but there are many many illegals over there fighting for this country and their papers
whiz, do me a favor take a deeeep breath there we go, now calm down cause i didnt all you a liar all i said was that you're wrong, maybe the area where you work in doesnt do that but there ARE plenty of other areas, i can name five people off the top of my head that went over there and are there now, and one of my good friends just got back, im not trying to offend you, im just syaing that this does happen, so calm down
ok if im wrong tell me how i know some people that are illegal in the war now? explain that, call you're office that you used to work at and have them look up Juan Cortez, Enrique Reyes, Emanuel Aguirre, Armando Lara, and tell me what their citizenship is please.
wow whiz, are you sure you know how to read, because i dont see anywhere where i typed liar, you are putting words into my mouth, but if you are so correct call "your office" the "you worked at" and tell me why those men are in the army now and in the war? then once you do, I'll be waiting for my appology.
whiz, do you want to go about trying to be mature about this or would you like to be a 3rd grader, its ok you have your beliefs and i have mine end of story, you're not going to change the way i think and im not going to change the way you think, so do you want to let it go now, or are you going to keep it up, i said i dont "really" (in other words im torn/in the middle/ so-so) believe him, but I never flat out called him a liar, so calm down hunny everything is going to be ok, dont try to fight someone elses battle, if he had that big of a porblem with it he would be typing me telling me that, so chill out
and as for boxing myself in a corner? how because you're arguing with me? not really there dear, i simply state my case and you do also, yes there are more antis than there are pros on here so there is a lot of rude comments, but this is a computer im looking at not a person, so im not exactly getting myself "boxed in". i understand if you are upset because you didn't know this was going on, I was pretty upset when I found this out also, it's wrong they shouldn't let immigrants fight, but it truly is happening, maybe its happening illegally than i dont know, but all i know is that those 5 men are over there fighting right now so me and you can be having this convo, and whether they are doing it illegally i still thank them

Unfortunately the Anti Immigrants and the extreme Media do not wants to see the other side of the Immigrants and Immigration. They are so narrow minded that it's pathetic how the criticized and demonized Undocumented when case like this overcome their ignorance.
Did you know that are thousands of Undocumented Immigrants who died for your freedom?
Did you know they were a thousands of Undocumented Immigrants fighting for your freedom in Iraq? .
Did you know that many Undocumented died trying to saved an Americans live?
